To be eligible for this visa, you will need a nomination from any of the Australian states or territories. Once nominated by a state or territory government, you will be awarded 5 points that can help in your prospect of permanent migration to Australia. An application for this visa requires a nomination by an Australian state or territory government agency.

4) Skilled Independent (subclass189)
If you are a highly qualified Filipino professional or a highly-skilled Filipino tradesperson-and can consider yourself as the best and the brightest in your profession or industry – this visa is for you! This visa is highly competitive hence threshold requirement alone may not be adequate.
This visa requires that you submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and that before visa application - has received an invitation from the Department of Home Affairs.
