1) Student visa – Subclass 500
This visa allows the applicant to come to Australia and participate in an eligible course of study, bring family members to Australia, and can be applied for in or outside of Australia.
You can study an English Program,vocational courses, bachelor degrees, masters, and Ph.D.
For the applicant to be successful in obtaining a Student Visa, they must already be enrolled in a course of study in Australia.
Holding a student visa allows you and your family to work 40 hours a fortnight. In some cases, you can obtain a temporary visa with full work rights after completion of the course. Your temporary visa can be a pathway to Permanent Residency.

2) Training Visa – Subclass 407
If you are looking at improving and upgrading your current skills set through employer-sponsored training arrangements – this visa is for you!!!
A training visa is a temporary visa that will give you some opportunities to working, and later on, seek sponsorship for a working visa or another skilled migration pathway.

3) Temporary Graduate - Subclass 485
This visa is for those who have completed a two years (16 months or 92 weeks)study in Australia. This is normally the next step after a student visa.
Subclass 485 is a temporary visa that allows international students to live, study and work after they have finished their studies. This visa is composed of 2 streams – the graduate workstream and the post-study workstream. The Graduate Works Stream requires that you have a qualification relevant to an occupation on the skilled occupation list. The Post Study Work Stream is for international students who have recently graduated with a degree from an Australian institution. It lets you live, work and study in Australia, temporarily.
This visa is a very good opportunity for the former students to work, and find a sponsor or improve their points to be strong candidates for any of the skilled migration visas for example Subclass 491, 190, or 189.

4) Skilled Recognised Graduate (subclass 476)

This visa is for recent engineering graduates who want to live, work or study in Australia for up to 18 months. You must have completed an engineering degree or higher qualification from University of the Philippines within the past 2 years, and be under 31 years of age. The visa is also available to other selected countries.
The accepted engineering specialisation are:
• civil engineering
• structural engineering
• chemical engineering
• environmental engineering
• electrical and electronics engineering
• mechanical, production and plant engineering
• mining and material engineering
